There Must Be More

when i face the final curtain
will I have faith in god?
or will all my rather bad deeds
tear my soul apart?
and will all the things I´ve cried for
vanish in the past?
must have faith in human race
encouraged to make a new start

than a life in pain and fear

anger and dispair
-there must be more-
than unfulfilled desire
-there must be more-
than they want us to believe

from the cradle to the grave
they´ve taught me to believe
to have eternal confidence
in human destiny
they say we´ll meet again
all the ones we´ve loved
these prospects make me shiver

are you still proud of my
resistance to temptation?
