(We're not lucky even at Christmas)

It was supposed to be a merry Christmas
But everything went wrong from the start
The turkey was burned, the tree was falling
And the snowstorm was separating us

We try to make the best of the situation
But the troubles kept piling up on us
The power went out, the pipes froze
And the songs turned into confusion
